You can get tobacco using alternative methods like gums, inhalers, lozenges, patches, and sprays. For best results, it is recommended to combine it with behavioral therapy.

  • Electronic cigarette

This is a device invented that aims for smokers to quit. It works by using a liquid solution containing nicotine and other chemical compounds. The smoke is a water vapor that results from heating the liquid using a vaporizer or heating device.

Can electronic cigarette help smokers quit?

It is believed to help smokers in quitting smoking traditional cigarette. However, it still needs more research studies to prove its claim and a study regarding its adverse effects should also be conducted. Moreover, some people think that it will have ‘dual use’ and may encourage people to smoke more.
